  • Battery Protection & Charging: Why Inconsistent Voltages and Activation Steps?
    1. The order of wiring is wrong, measure the wiring to confirm whether the voltage of each battery string is correct. 
    2. After power-on protection, the lithium iron battery is at 2.8V-3.4V, and the polymer (ternary) is at 3V-4V. Charge or discharge the battery to the voltage range without the protection board, and then connect the protection board. 
    3. The discharge MOS tube is closed. Charge activation
  • After the batteries are matched, why are the charging rates somewhat higher and some lower?
    It may be related to the capacity or internal resistance of the battery. You can first lower the high or low battery separately or charge it up to the same voltage as other batteries. Charge and discharge several times to see if the voltage of the string of batteries is still high during charging, it means the capacity of the string of batteries is low. Otherwise, the battery capacity is high. It is also related to the assembly method. Try to make the series wires and parallel wires the same thickness and length, or check the welding point of the balance wire, it may also be affected. Note that the protection board only detects the voltage of the battery and does not change the voltage of the battery
  • About overcurrent protection?
    The overcurrent protection is 2 to 3 times of the continuous current, and it will be protected only when the overcurrent value is reached within 200ms. If the continuous current of the protection board is exceeded and the overcurrent value is not reached, the protection board cannot bear it, and the heat will be severe, which may burn out. Overcurrent protection is to protect the abnormal large current in the battery circuit, such as: the controller does not start the current limit, the motor is blocked, short circuit, etc., are all abnormal large currents, and have no current limiting effect
